Bringing Local Authorities Together: Conference on Accounts Receivable Management 2026

Credit Management Outsource Solutions recently hosted, for the second consecutive  year, the Conference on Accounts Receivable Management in Local Government, in partnership with Hugh J Ward & Co Solicitors, Ascendas Business Solutions, and the Credit Management Institute of Ireland.

Building on the strong engagement from last year, the event welcomed representatives from 25 Local Authorities across Ireland, bringing together professionals working at the forefront of accounts receivable management.

The conference centred on the real-world challenges faced by Local Authorities and the key discussions included:

  • Managing collection challenges within Local Authorities
  • The role of systems, APIs, and the future of debt management
  • Pre- and post-judgement debt recovery processes
  • A Section 11 case study offering practical insight from the field

These sessions were grounded in experience, with speakers sharing actionable insights that attendees can apply within their own organisations.
